The Model One
The Model One Birdhouse is my version of an old design known as a “Coffee Can” Birdhouse.
It’s made from Premium Pine which is stained (Espresso and Red Oak) and finished with exterior-grade polyurethane.
Overall dimensions are 9″L x 10″w x 7″H.
The Nesting Chamber is a 4×6 inch HDPE material tube which is easily removed for maintenance.
It has a 1.25-inch entry hole meant for
small birds like Chickadees and Wrens.
